Orris is a moon plant in ancient herbalism. As a moon plant, orris root is good for digging deep into the moon-ruled subconscious and uprooting what is hidden, and water is a universal symbol of the unconscious mind also linked to the moon, femininity, and healing.

The Orris Water brand was created through the love of perfume making, where the inspiration for my perfume concepts led to daydreams of ethereal spaces that exude healing, peace, and utopia. As I wore my own perfumes, I realized how they were impacting my life and wanted to share the interesting nature of natural perfumes with others.

The importance of self-care is a lifelong journey, and I believe that scent can be a tool we use throughout our lifetime to connect with our mind, body, and spirit. Here we can look into our subconscious to understand our desires, anxieties, and even ailments.
